Went to the San Antonio winery in downtown Los Angeles, Lincoln Heights to be exact...it's right down the street from La Placita and Phillipe's double-dip sandwiches...

It was just the 5 of us...Had a great time and the lunch was delicious...Thanks Nadine, she picked up the tab and celebrated our birthdays...I keep trying to forget my birthdays, but NO!!!!!

We even had to have dessert in honor of Clara, who loved to be thinking about the goodies before she even ordered her meal...

We were greeted by Steve, he is the owner of San Antonio and knows Nadine and Amelia, since Amelia was a kid...Steve is 90 years old and Amelia is well...right behind him...Steve always gives her a bottle of wine and today was no exception...a bottle of black label, premium stuff...Thank heaven for the Italians!!!

We stayed for the tour of the winery, not that we wanted to know how to make wine, we just needed an excuse to walk off all that great food...The tour guide was enteratining and we enjoyed our stay at the winery...
