Just a small note...My sister Lupe, who is Clara's trust administrator, received a check from a "closed" account. Clara left the account for the "kids"...Lupe felt that Clara had left it for Aubrey and when she went to purchase this cross, the price of the cross was the amout of the check...and it was the last one available.

Aubrey is very lucky she has so many people that love her so much.

Thank you Clara/Auntie Mana and thank you so much Lupe!!!

Just another installment of the family fun that was had by all at Lupe and Jesse's home. Jesse, the cantinero, made Mai Tai's and mixed drinks with fancy umbrella's. Thanks to everyone for making Aubrey's shower a success.

***Just a small note...Rick was doing the Samba and crashed into the sliding door!!! All is well and he only needed 21 stitches...

The last baby shower before the "Big Day" was scheduled to be held at Lupe and Jesse's house. SURPRISE...Aubrey attended her own shower...While we all lunched on L&L Hawaiian food, Aubrey slept thru it all and when Niki checked on her, she rolled her eyes and went back to LaLa Land.

I tried to get her to do a handstand or something...Maybe next time...

July 13th was a very lucky day for everyone involved...Volunteers requested for midnite duty...and remember to bring your own snacks...

Just talked to Niki and she said that Aubrey kept them up all night long....Yeah

Not wanting to share her birthday with 20 other relatives in August, Aubrey decided to come early. Aubrey was born this afternoon, 1:09 p.m. and weighed in at 7lbs 2 ounces. Mom and Dad survived and look forward to the long journey ahead...I mean they are planning a trip to the Laughlin!!!

We all gathered at St. Joe's where a little over 28 years ago, Niki came into our lives. It's so nice to have such a wonderful gift...
