LA Shoot This...Photo Day

I spent the afternoon in Long Beach, Hot-as-Hell, Long Beach.

The shoot was put on by Joelle with the help of Kerry Garrison and special guest, Gene Higa.

It was great working with so many talented artists who are willing to share their talent. Special thanks to all the models, they bent their bodies to every position and smiled the whole time.

It's the Details...Fingers, jewelry and curves...

Had a great class last night with the world-famous photographer, Gene Higa.

He taught us how to work with the clients and make them feel comfortable and how to pose them for the pictures. Gene has lots of energy...He never stops moving, working the pose and setting up the next frame.

Thanks to Kerry Garrison and his photo club, he made it all happen.

Here's the photo's from last Sunday's birthday party at Lupe's home...It was also a visit Jayde day...We had a mexican brunch, carnitas, cueritos, buches, chicharones, frijoles de la olla, fresh salsa and fresh tortillas.

Mandy and Ron partied all nite at the fund-raiser...Nadine and the family were scheduled to come over but her Mom fell to the ground while toasting the Lakers and they ended up at the emergency room all day...

Niki and I took a camera class on Tuesday...

We went to Laguna Beach for the sunset and the famous landmark, Victoria Tower.  The instruction was exceptional and the friendship was the best.  Everyone involved took time to help each other understand the principles of "light"..and teach us methods to understand the madness...
