Having some FUN family-time at the wedding...

Leanne, Jaime Cerda's daughter, got married on Saturday, the 14th, at Saint Matthias Church in Huntington Park and had her reception at Lupe and Jesse's home in West Covina. 

We set up a photo booth to record the craziness that was had by all. 

The pictures got better as the Tequila kicked in.

Aubrey is 4 years old...

Aubrey...

Yes sir...We celebrated Aubrey's 4th birthday last Saturday or 2 Saturday's ago...It was a princess theme and her cup-cakes were fantastic. All the kids had fun jumping in the pool and breaking the piñata, with lots of candy for everyone. Aubrey has been taking swimming lessons and she was enjoying jumping into her Auntie Erika's arms the entire afternoon. Can't wait for the next party!!!

Aubrey started her swimming lessons at Pearson Park. The program is run by the YMCA and the kids are really friendly to all the kids that come there to learn. Aubrey has a very friendly instructor, she wanted to make sure she got a girl, very positive and motivated to get her swimming. Lots of encouragement and high-fives. Aubrey's been a trooper and hasn't complained a bit, even with the 8' drop that they did yesterday and today...

Aubrey will show her new-found talents tomorrow...it's the 4th of July...

I hope every day is not like today when I retire...I spent the day watching the wall "age" at the Fullerton Train Station...Looks like it got a bit older and the paint appears to be cracking...just saying...

Finally got to see my Mom for Mothers Day...she was in Palm Springs with Lupe and Jesse...she got a bit of a sunburn when they visited Yoli for a party.

Aubrey was quiet when she first arrived at GranMa's but once she warmed up she was on-fire...She ate all her food and then ate carrots and chicken pieces from Eri's chicken pot pie...What an appetite.

I had Aubrey for the evening yesterday and we picked up GranMa Tere and had dinner in La Placita, Olvera Street. Aubrey remembers that she was here before and picked out the table we sat in last time we were here. She had a carnitas taco, we had chicharones. We walked into all the stores and even made wishes at the Wishing Well, lots of pennies were used to make our dreams come true!!!

We ended up at the Train Station across the street, it's a beautiful place with lots of history. Beautiful tiles, wooden structure, leather seats and then all the weird people...You can't beat LA for all this entertainment.
