Just the other day when Aubrey came to visit, we were talking about candy and I asked her if she wanted popcorn, she had a puzzled look on her face, like she never heard the word popcorn. I threw a bag into the microwave and when it started popping Aubrey was puzzled, then she could smell the aroma and the buttered kernels. Niki came in the door and Aubrey was jumping for joy pointing at the microwave, Niki said she had never had popcorn. Aubrey got a fist-full, "Hot" she said...then she proceeded to eat handfuls of the buttery treat. She was so happy, throwing the kernels in the air and running her fingers through the corn in the bowl...

Aubrey's been over a couple of times and after a run to the backyard, she comes in and points to the microwave and says "pop" she loves to hear the popping sound and then when it's over, she gets to eat the popcorn...

Niki and Aubrey came over after watching the fireworks at Disneyland.  Boom, boom, boom is how Aubrey describes the lights in the sky. 

When I told her to get her camera, she found it in the cupboard, brought it out and started directing me to SMILE.

Niki and I took Aubrey to the Santa Ana river, hoping to get pictures with the flowers in the background...Aubrey had other ideas, like RUNNING!!! 

We walked a quarter of a mile to find the right flower patch, set up the wicker seat, got everything ready and then, BAM, Aubrey ran away...We chased her down and started all over again. 

After lots of heavy-breathing, we were able to get a few good pictures...mostly with Aubrey looking AWAY from the camera.

Last Saturday while Niki was visiting, Aubrey was walking around the house and playing with her toys and found this old camera...She picked it up, started playing with the dials, looking into the viewfinder and making us, me and niki, SMILE...then she looked at the back of the camera and started "chimping"...She's way ahead of all of us...

This is Nadine with her baby, it's her niece's baby who was a preemie and weighed only 2 pounds at birth.  She's a big, beautiful little girl now!!!

She loved playing with Jayde and Aubrey and fighting for the candies when the piñata was busted open.

Yesterday, March 19th, we celebrated the marriage of Mario and Nanette.

It was at the home of Mario and Wendy in South Gate. Lots of family showed up and then there were lots of people I'd never seen...Oh wait...I keep forgetting my memory is not working anymore...Sorry if I passed by and didn't say Hi!
