Spent the afternoon scouting new firehouse's that I may want to work at, found the one in Seal Beach to be a pretty nice place, hopefully I can get that coveted spot...nice community, low call volume and the neighbors like you!
Found this statue of the Duke, not John Wayne, the original Duke...
It's nice to know that even though the statue is here, he actually is known to have put his board in to Redondo Beach the first time he demonstrated "surfing" to the California community.
I love Redondo Beach...Sunday picnic's with the entire family...eating at the pier, shrimp plates, corn-on-the-cob, jumping off the pier...how did we survive?
