It sure makes all the weeding worth it...I keep fertilizing and weeding and planting the plumerias in larger pots and now I get to enjoy this all summer long. This is only the beginning and I stil have 3 more colors that are to bloom...Red, mini-pink and multi-colored...And don't forget the white one's that I posted last week, they're the biggest and most fragrant. In case you don't know, plumerias are from Hawaii...

Took one of the best classes that I have taken to date...Ben Chen is a noted photographer and he works in a fast-paced method, Guerrilla-mode. It was all hands-on with very little theory. Boy was it fun! We all learned quite a bit and these photo's are proof....Hope you enjoy them.

When retuning from a call at the station, we ran across these walls of color. I don't think that I have ever seen this much glory in the 7 years that I have been here...Maybe it's just my new camera that makes me appreciate everything just a bit more! If you know what they are named please let me know...

We had a great time celebrating Dia de las Madres, at Lupe and Jesse's home in West Covina. My Mom made stuffed meatballs for dinner. I know it sounds Italian but it's really not, it's an old recipe from my Tia Margarita. It was a slow day and my Mom was sun-burned since she spent the day before in 29 Palms at Yoli's house...110 degree weather and the wind burned her face.
