I was fortunate to get to go to a 3-hour photo lighting session with David Honl.  Not only is he a great photographer, but he develops lots of gadgets for use on flashes.  He is a very down-to-earth kind of person and his staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.  I learned quite a bit of new techniques that I'll be putting into use in the near future.

I was surprised to learn that he had just come back from Iraq, where he had been documenting the people and their struggles.  He visits war zones throughout the world on assignment and the helmet and flak jacket made me appreciate my life a lot more...Thanks

We got together today for Aubreys 10 month fotos, a week late but who's counting...Went down to Anaheim Civic Center, behind city hall. I found these nice water fountains that Aubrey really liked. It was sunny and we had a great time, even got Aubrey to smile for the camera.

The backyard of the station is loaded with blooming trumpets.  The neighbor has this bunch hanging over his fence with 3 different colors, Red, Orange and White with purple stripes.  It just reminds me of how lucky I am to be able to enjoy life.

The plumerias are starting to open up and bloom, I've got white, yellow, multi-colored, pink, red and a tiny buttercup white with red stripes.  My yard is set to come alive!  The hardest part is keeping the weeds under control.

Breakfast at Flappy Jacks, in Glendora on Route 66, was great with the family and the Mom's!  But what is breakfast without Tabasco.  For any good-ole American breakfast, eggs, hash browns, potatoes O'Brien, gravy, buttermilk biscuits,  country-fried steak, waffles, omelettes...you just can't beat it!!!

Even my Mom's salsa that is so good with everything mexican, nopales, huevos rancheros, frijoles chinitos, bistek en salsa negra, papitas fritas, cueritos, buches, bolitas con huevo...

I'm glad it's lunch time...See you later..

We got together with my Mom and Lupe this morning to celebrate Dia de Las Madres, mexican Mother's Day.  Robert and Laura brought baby Jayde and we went to a new breakfast place in Glendora, Flappy Jacks on Route 66.  The food was real tasty and there was lots of it.

We got together to celebrate Mother's Day, Saturday at Mimi's in Downey. Aubrey was being a pain in the butt...She didn't want to be with my Mom and started to cry, may be a bit sleepy. We made it thru dinner and then took a few pictures outside.

I ran into Dalia and had lunch with her and Aubrey.  We tried sitting Aubrey in a highchair but she cried every time..She loved the fries...and she couldn't stop swinging her head from side-to-side...She's a metiche and all the action made her day.
