Tia Margarita's 85th Birthday Party...

My Tia Margarita celebrated her 85th birthday on Tuesday at the Balboa Bay Club. We are all happy to have her in our lives and thankful that she is doing so well.

My Mom cherishes calling her and talking about "old times" because it makes them both so happy to share memories.

Robert & Laura's Shower...

We celebrated Robert and Laura's baby girl, Jayde on Sunday. We also met Jesse's Dad and his familia. They're from Watts, went to Huntington Park high school and also like to party!

Aubrey will have a new cousin on our side of the family, she already has a bunch on the PLA side and they're waitng for her to start walking.

We all gathered at Lupe's for Robert and Laura's baby shower. Aubrey was a sleepyhead for just a minute but she was spunky when she woke up...

I picked up Aubrey and we walked home, lots of looking around for her. When she hears a dog barking she looks for Dexter. She is a bit cranky today, it's either the teeth or maybe she wants a bottle?

It's nice to see that Aubrey doesn't mind stuff on her head. Anything that Niki puts on, stays there...most kids would rip the object right off. Niki, Joe and Aubrey are in Glamis for the weekend, we took these on Friday. Aubrey got a workout posing for the "L.O.V.E." card.

We're getting ready for Aubreys 7 month birthday...she's here, dressed in Red ready to party. She has here first teeth breaking and she isn't even bothered...just a small amount of rash on her cheeks...

It's raining quite a bit right now...that's why Aubrey is all bundled up. She has new toys but all she wants to do is put them in her mouth. I just found a small tooth coming in, on the bottom gum. After the shots she jumped in her jumper and eventually fell asleep til Niki came by for her...Just love her...

The swing set finally came in and Aubrey loved it... I picked Aubrey up today and she was happy to have her swing. Usually I have to walk Aubrey around the house to keep her distracted, she is a lookie-loo and everything interests her. I call her "metiche" because she gets into everyone else's business. Erika says that's what Niki does also...

I hope she learns to sing.
