Went to the pumpkin patch in Santa Ana @ the Main Place Mall...We've been there the last 2 years with Aubrey's crowd.

Rose Hills in Whittier hosted the annual Altares competition and festival.  The crowd was really into the activities and all had a great time.

Day at the Park...and Ice Cream...

 She's distracted, but continues to enjoy her ice cream...

Went to the park with Aubrey...swings, ladders, slides and jungle-jims!!!  She is adventurous and not afraid of a fall or a scrape...She enjoys running around and making lots of noise.

Then we went over to Baskin & Robins, 31 flavors, for a scoop of fresh ice cream...

She wanted every drop, would not share and did not want to try my flavor...

"All done" is all she said...

Spent the afternoon with the family taking pictures of Aubrey for her annual Halloween card.  She is a ball of fire and would only cooperate when she felt like it!!! So much for personality plus...We all had lots of fun and enjoyed every minute of our adventure.

More of the many faces of Los Muertos...I participated in a fashion show for the girls in the community of Lynwood...My friends, Bertha and Paulina invited me to tag along and I got some pretty nice faces...The girls were all great and they did an awesome job of modeling...

Calacas in Santa Ana hosted the monthly open-house and they highlighted La Catrina, a Dia de Los Muertos character.  Erika and Bertha did the face painting of all the willing participants.  Lots of friends and neighbors came into the downtown to help celebrate and keep the tradition alive.

Remember November 2nd is Dia de Los Muertos...Go to La Placita in downtown LA or find a celebration in your community.
